The Leather Bottle on Garratt Lane (next to One o'clock club) has a huge beer garden with lots of picnic tables. They also do great food and there are lots of families and buggies outside when the weather is good.

Thanks for all the suggestions here. As for what pubs there are in Twickenham, my niece had her 3rd birthday at the Prince Blucher just on Twickenham Green which has a big garden full of tables for the adults, a separate (and very big) fenced off playground and it also lays on good pub grub. The Victoria as mentioned above is great too. There's another I forget the name of in St Margaret's near Marble Hill...will post the name if it comes to me. Thanks again everyone, very helpful x

Hello, not sure it covers your area but in East Sheen you have The Victoria really brilliant place with a little playground in the garden and food can be very good. Easy to get to with public transportation as well take bus 37 from Putney or they got parking outside and some extra on the back. We like it got a toddler and a baby ourselves. Good Luck

One great family friendly pub that I would recommend is in Teddington is The Anglers at Teddington Lock - they really welcome families; fantastic location with safe playground, kid friendly menu. There's loads of space and because it's decorated in that shabby chic/contemporary look it works for adults, teens and kiddies...We use it often for Xmas eve, Sunday lunches and BBQs in the summer...

Twickenham way that we've used with kids and like are The Alexandra Pope on Cross Deep, opposite Radnor Gardens (with great playground and river walk). Great space, food is ok, very friendly happy staff who are willing to help. And TVs for the football!

Sorry I don;t have any suggestions but would be really graetful for the names of the ones you mentioned in Richmond/Twickenham please?

Am always looking for places with decent gardens for my two toddlers.

Hi, I'm trying to find somewhere for my baby's 1st birthday party which will be in June, so ideally I'd like a pub with a toddler-safe garden. If it did good food too that would be a huge bonus. Does anyone know of a good place nearby? I know of lots around Richmond/Twickenham way with slides etc in the gardens but don't know anywhere SW11/12/18ish.

Can anyone help?

Thanks very much in advance.
