Margarita at Geddes salon on Old York Road is fantastic, I have been going to her for 15 years.

What was Orao like, can you recommend? My hairdresser also returned to Australia (likely the same one) and I like her replacement but when I tried to change my appointment, I can't seem to get a slot. These 10% discounts offered if you book your next appointment may be good for salon business, but they are not great if you need to change your appointment as there's nothing else available for a month! I live in Balham, had an amazing hairdresser for 4 years but she returned to Denmark (I'm told) and I had found someone good in Balham but she's gone to Australia for a year out. I'm not a fan of Michelle Louise or Rush in Balham. Anywhere else or will I have to go into central London?

I see Vivienne at Orao hair salon on Balham High Road, she does an amazing job and has also transformed my colour. I went to see her after a terrible haircut somewhere else, i Highly recommend her.

My amazing hairdresser has left for Australia and her replacement isn't great.
I just need a reliably good cut (no colour) and occasional blow dry.
I've been to several other places in SW11 and have had terrible cuts (including Edward James sorry).
Really hope that there is someone good out there!
