HI
I think the law has changed now regarding this, as far as I am aware they now have the right to issue the ticket, even if you drive, this has changed very recently.
Hopefully you won't get one in the post, but if you do- go to ticketfighter.co.uk most parking tickets given out in London are not legal.
I have not paid a parking ticket in years, it's amazing how many loop holes there are.
Everything I know about getting off tickets, I learnt from ticket fighter and it's free.
I have not even gone to court, although been very close a few times, but they have always backed down.

Thank you... I tried looking on line as to whether I will still receive the ticket or not but it's all very confusing. Any ideas?

Nothing will happen to you.

You were within your rights to get in and drive off.

Parking ticket only valid once it has been attached to the car.

All is good! :D

Parking ticket.......

Does anyone know what will happen to me......??
I was just popping in to a shop on the Northcote Road to collect some paint so didn't bother buying a Pay&Display ticket. I was delayed in the shop (grrrr) and when I eventually came out there was a Wandswroth Borough parking attendant writting out a ticket. In a moment of madness I got in the car and drove off before he could put the ticket on the car or photograph it. Any ideas what will happen? :?:
