We've just bought a Little Life carrier and its great as we have just moved out of London and are doing nice long walks on the weekends. However my husband uses the Little Life but as it adds a few kg to the load, I'm still using the Beco Butterfly I bought when my daughter was tiny. I had to give up on a Baby Bjorn as it gave me back ache. Until she was just under two I could still carry her comfortably on my front for short trips like shopping and now that she is just over two I carry her on my back in it if I go walking without my husband and will probably do so for a good while yet. The beauty of it is that it weighs nothing, is the most comfortable thing you could imagine (the weight sits on your hips) and is a really attractive thing. I've used it almost daily for nearly two years and it still looks perfect it is so well made. I bought mine from naturalconnection.co.uk who got it to me in a day as I was going on holiday. At the time they were the only ones selling them but I think you can get them from a lot of places now. That said, my husband who is a big tall fella prefers the Little Life as the weight means not much to him so it depends on who does most of the carrying!
