Trainer got me back into my skinny jeans within 4 months

by cosmopolitanmum » Mon May 23, 2011 11:15 am

Hi all,
I am pregnant with my second child and trained throughtout my first pregnancy and post natally with Fred Ferge. He is based in Wandsworth. I am now training with him again. He is amazing - he has a really positive energy and is properly trained to do the right exercises with you so you dont harm yourself in pregnancy. I train with him once a week and he got me back into my size 8 clothes within 4 months of giving birth the first time - hope he can do the same this time around!
Anyway I think he's really fantastic so thought I'd share with you all. His details are http://www.fredfitnesswithstyle.co.uk/ and his mobile is 07904196735. Hope he can help some other Mums like he has helped me!

Hi Francesca,

My name is Karen and I am a personal trainer who works in the area.

I offer one to one training in your home or outdoors in parks or you can work out with a friend or a small group of friends if you prefer.

If you need to bring your child along to training sessions there is no problem either - being a mum myself I know its difficult to arrange childcare sometimes.

Feel free to check out my website http://www.karenthecoach.com

Hope you find a personal trainer that suits you,

Karen

Hi there

I've been training twice a week with Jamie Lloyd (I think he's already posted above) and I can't recommend him highly enough. I've been trying to lose weight after having my two babies - I managed to get most of it off, but not that last stubborn 10 pounds. Three weeks on and I've already dropped 8 pounds and I feel brilliant.

The sessions are fun and different each time - the time flies by! Jamie is also very supportive, with a weekly analysis of my food diary, regular motivational texts and a programme that I complete at home or in the gym. Good luck!

Carrie

Hi. Nordic Balance are very good www.nordicbalance.co.uk Joanna, who runs it, is absolutely lovely and has a toddler of her own so is only too aware of the difficulties of fitting in exercise around a child! They were very happy for me to take my baby along to sessions, played with her if she got stroppy whilst I was doing crunches or whatever and figured out exercises I could do with the pram in tow - would really recommend them.

Hi Francesca!

I am a local personal trainer who specialises in training women. My aim is to help women to look and feel their best and to give them the confidence to achieve their goals. Each client is unique and I would work with you to create an individual programme, drawing on different exercise techniques according to your personal preferences and what you are looking to achieve. I believe that 'me time' is precious so you need to spend it doing something you enjoy!

In addition I offer ongoing support and encouragement outside of the time that we train together so help is never very far away!

I offer a free initial no obligation consultation where we can meet for a coffee and a chat and discuss what you are looking to achieve. Do give me a call on 07557 400945.

Best wishes

Lindsay

I used to be a personal trainer (before becoming a mummy), working privately and at the Harbour Club in Chelsea. I would recommend my very good friend Nicky who is a fabulous trainer and has worked extensively with mums getting back into shape. She also works privately and at a club. Her contact details are 07806 229218. I know she is away until the end of Easter but she may still be contactable by phone if you try her. Best of luck!

Call Robin at High Active (http://www.highactive.co.uk) he is FAB - he has a private gym and he's the best personal trainer I have ever had (and I've had quite a few in the past). He really knows his stuff and he offers some interesting scientific testing which is well worth it if you want to get fitter and/or lose weight.
