Hello, I've lived in Du Cane Court for thirty years, if you want totally solid reliability my family has used for over a hundred years, me for 30:
WT Fry Group, Crescent House, Crescent Road, Worthing, BN11 1RN or google it. They come to London or you can go there. They have increased £40 000 to £110 000 for me in 30 years. So not exciting, and they do charge, but they are very personable and ethically correct in every way. Your money will go into a completely separate package by Nucleus as a wrap to ensure the advisor can't mess around, and accountable to you, checkable on the net instantly. Not exciting but not dodgy.

I think as a Which? member you only get the financial advice if you buy their financial advice bit on top of your standard membership. I tried it as a member and was told to buy the "other" subscription.

AVOID St James's place. Used them twice and they are clueless. You might as well just read the money section of The Sunday Times.

If you're a Which? member, you can get free advice from their Money Helpline
