Hi there,

I do read some absolute pants on various forums about "losing weight", "fat burning" through exercise etc. I came across this and thought it was a sensible, easy to understand, and most importantly, achievable guide to losing weight whilst training. The goal is not to solely lose weight in this guide, it is to be used as a benefit or aid to improve fitness. Specifically it is aimed at endurance athletes training for an event so that they can taper to be in peak form. However the general points are valid for anyone training, playing sports during classes etc who wish to lose weight too.

Don't believe the hype, remember if you want to lose weight, you have to lose calories.
