Thank you - yes I drove past David Simmons on Saturday and it was closed sadly.

I'll take a look at Sinclairs.

I believe David Simmonds may now be shut - I went a couple of weeks ago but the shop was closed with a sign on the indicating family problems.

I went to Sinclair Jewellers in Worple Road, Wimbledon - opposite Ely's - http://www.sinclairjewellers.co.uk/

They replaced a watch battery in a TAG watch, which other local jewellers would not touch - recommended.

David Simmonds is still there! In Earlsfield, by the crosdroads of Garrett Lane and Earlsfield Road.

David Simmons in Earlsfield were great, would be a real shame if they have closed down.

Another recommendation - I had my wedding and engagement rings resized last year by Schroder In Wallington (a bit further away) they did a fantastic job, it involved sourcing two more little stones, totally trustworthy, proper traditional jeweller.

I was a fan of David Simmons jewellers on Garrett Lane but it seems to have disappeared - can anyone recommend a trustworthy jewellers to repair an engagement ring? I have concerns about Asquiths following the thread on here...
