I recently used Kenwood when I had some unexplained damp on a wall. They will come and assess the problem and give advice. No obligation and no cost. I thought that they were really good.

Thanks sloaney pony for your advice. I believe that the damp comes from the outside wall when it rains. I think I shall be careful with Drying my cloth in the kitchen.

Not properly ventilated (so you have an extractor fan?). You should have one. And if you do, is it venting correctly?

Is there a leaking pipe either under the floor or in the cavity walls? Central heating or water. Get your water system pressure checked by a plumber.

Are you just drying all your damp clothes in there? Or are you cooking without proper air circulation?

Are your walls built with proper engineering block and damp course?

Hi,
we have a lot of damp in our kitchen and it seems to get worse.  Does anyone know a reliable and honest damp company?
We welcome any advice or comments that you may have regarding this
Many Thanks
