Our daughter has very mild eczema and suddenly had quite a severe reaction to suncream at 2 yrs. Our doctor prescribes Delph sunlotion which we have used for a year now. They usually have to order it in especially at the chemist. We have tried an alternative prescription one (I can't remember the name) which caused a flare up. I guess it's a case of trial and error. Good luck!

I can recommend an excellent aloe vera based sunscreen that is great for babies as well as anyone else in the family. It is SPF 30. Aloe vera is very good for eczema too!
If anyone is interested then I am happy for you to try before you buy.

My nearly 2.5 year old also has sensitive skin, prone to eczema.

I also highly recommend the Sunsense range (50+ Toddler milk), and that's not just because I'm an Australian! We also use the roll on version (perfect for applying to a tetchy toddler's face). I got my latest lot from Amazon (competitive price and got in very quickly - next day).

http://www.eczema.org have useful info available about sunscreens (you might pay £1.50 for their info sheets - but the donation's worth it). There are key ingredients to look for that aggravate it - PABA's, plus other preservatives. They list several other brands and what they have in them, and recommend the best ones to use. There's lots of other useful info on there to help you.

Hi
I had the same problem with my son's skin and our doctor recommended a range called 'Sun Sense'. It's from Australia and free from any unnecessary nasties; I think it's fab, doesn't irritate his skin and goes on easier than any other lotion we've used. Our local pharmacy ordered it in for us within 24hrs.

My twin baby girls both have eczema and some creams & suncreams make it flare up - does anyone have any recommendations of which suncreams are best for this? I have tried Tesco baby and Simple neither of which have been great...
Thanks!
