Hi, we lived on Elspeth for five years and it was a great place to start out and get on the property ladder but if you’re looking for the long term, it is worth considering that it is a very busy and polluted road and if you have any bedrooms at the front of the house, it is noisy. There are no speed bumps and it is a busy road that emergency services do use with their sirens on. We loved living there but am pleased that our new place is quieter and less polluted!

We are a looking to buy a house around clapham junction. We are considering Elspeth Road as its in our budget but realise its a very busy road. Can some one tell me what are the pros and cons of buying a house there? does it get too noisy and what is the parking situation? Also would appreciate any info about schools.
