Hi

It’s a little bit further, but if you are able to travel, I would highly recommend Dads and Littl’uns which meets in South Wimbledon http://www.dadsandlittluns.co.uk/ They also have a Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/dadsandlittlunswimbledon/. Do get in touch with Mike who runs it via Facebook or the website if you want more info, or DM me and I can put you in touch with my husband.

It’s a dads’ playgroup and meets on Monday and Friday mornings although obviously hasn’t been running in recent months but hopefully will be soon. It’s the only dads’ playgroup in the area (possibly London?!) and my husband finds it really invaluable as a stay at home dad. There’s lots of toys for the kids and the dads chat and play, but my husband also finds it a good support network as they have a WhatsApp chat and meet monthly for drinks (without kids!). My husband isn’t so keen on the usual singing, music, sensory classes so this is a great alternative.

My husband also did Little Kickers classes with our son as they can join from 18 months old whereas a lot of other classes are from 2 years.

St. Barnabas church on Clapham common Northside has a lovely playgroup, Monday and Wednesday mornings 10-11.30 you could drop in to check out

Clapham Manor children's centre near Clapham Manor school has a great range of activities during the week including activities on the common, they have a timetable you can pick up from the centre

Battersea Arts centre has a soft play area called the Bees Knees.
