We bought a trampoline tent for our girls last year and it was an absolute hit - it goes over a standard trampoline (ours is 8 foot) and makes a lovely space which we filled with cushions and foam fold out beds. The fact that it is also effectively on stilts adds to the sense of camping outdoors above the 'wildlife'...!!

Love this idea!

I have the Decathlon Air tent which I put up last summer with my then 5yo in a matter of minutes - she loved helping and pumping up the beams! It was just the two of us and so easy to do. Really recommend it - it’s very sturdy once up and was one of the few tents left standing after a terrible storm one night. The black out sleeping area is a bonus too!

Enjoy the camp out and don’t forget the marshmallows

It’s definitely worth investing in a bell tent and go for the one without the fitted groundsheet. Extremely simple to put up and made of canvas so stays fairly cool in the sunshine. There are also plenty of great accessories including a small wood burning stove! We absolutely love ours. I’d also highly recommend investing in camp beds (not inflatable ones) so you’re off the ground.

I would try Decathon if you are planning the camp out to take place after April 12th. They are perfect for this sort of thing. If you'll be doing sooner check out the website.

They have lots of pop up tents which are very reasonably priced, no putting together as such but there is still lots to do with inflatable mattresses etc. so they won't lose the whole experience.

Sounds very fun. Enjoy!

Hi!

We were supposed to have a spring family trip but my wife and I decided to postpone it. We don't want kids to be utterly disappointed that is why we decided to have a camping trip in our backyard. Fortunately, we have a spacious garden with some bushes and trees so as long as we come up with exciting ideas, all should be fine. I am looking for a tent suitable for children, a night in the tent is going to be one of the attractions. I would like them (twins age 8) to put it together but I am not sure if it is possible. Could you advise, please? What tent could I purchase?
