Wakehurst road is one of the busiest roads as unfortunately I think that the Waze app routes cars from Clapham common, onto Grandison Road then Wakehurst Road as a shortcut. This section of Grandison Road joining the common is definitely not one that I would recommend to any one of my clients to buy property on.

I’m sorry to hear that but I think it’s just part of leaving your car on the road. Mine has a few scratches that were caused by passing vehicles. It’s really annoying but the roads are so narrow with cars parked either side so it’s easily done.

Very tiny city cars, parked wayyyy inside the bay (almost scratched the alloys to do so)… super super unlucky! :-(

Depends I guess on what size cars - if they are massive SUVs then they may well stick out well beyond the parking area and have been scraped by a assing vehicle.  If not, then you were probably just unlucky.

Parked cars

Hello all!

I just moved in the area and just wanted to flag that sometime between Saturday and this morning both mine and my husband’s cars, which were parked back to back on Wakehurst road, have been damaged.
Any thoughts? Did anybody see anything at the junction with Leathwaite Road? Any other similar experiences?
TIA :(
