Re: Cryptocurrency Training offered

Hello I have some great tulip bulbs that I bought a while ago that have only gone up in value, some 1000%. I have made many many Guilders. (Well last time I checked) Would you like to buy some too?
Perhaps you may be curious why if I’m making massive returns always buying these bulbs , I am not keeping it to myself?
What could I possibly have to gain by other entrants entering this market as buyers?
Here let me offer to ‘train you’ and you can pay me for that.

Please ignore the following so-called facts
1. Isaac Newton lost his shirt in the south sea bubble of 1720, but we can be smarter than him
2. A rising tide lifts all boats, but no this time is different!
3. If someone talks about their amazing financial returns then you may de facto be in a regulatory situation

"It is recommended to invest in the top capitalized cryptocurrencies such as spam spam spam (admin will delete when they see this!)" - actually it is recommended not to touch cryptocurrencies with a bargepole.

Trading cryptocurrencies can bring big profits - much more than investing, mining, and other types of crypto-asset income.

And trading cryptocurrencies can bring big losses - much more than investing, mining, and other types of crypto-asset income.

It would be great to get an update on this thread now that spam spam spam (admin will delete when they see this!) is down 40% and there is talk of FCA regulation to protect retail investors.

Hope no one on NVN got enticed in to something they didn’t understand as a result of this thread?

OMG, I absolutely LOVE how this post has come back to life in a week where....

spam spam spam (admin will delete when they see this!) hit its ALL TIME HIGH of $67k before retracing (congrats anyone who bought the dip)

The first spam spam spam (admin will delete when they see this!) ETF was licensed in the US

Elon Musk said Tesla will start accepting spam spam spam (admin will delete when they see this!) again now that more environmentally sound ways of mining have been found.

Oh yes, and many of the the other things I mentioned in other posts to do with mass adoption have indeed come to pass.

More corporates adding crypto to balance sheets
More investment banks making statements in support of crypto
Countries adopting BTC as legal tender
LOVE IT!

Well done Annabel for letting this run x

Hi betterannabel
thanks for your message and love your username!

This thread has attracted comments by some of our long standing and more active users. There has also been a healthy debate on this thread around what exactly crypto is and how volatile it is. For that reason the thread is still live.

Happy to have a chat if you would like to call me? Email annabel@nappyvalleynet.com and we can arrange a call.

As always many thanks to everyone for all of your posts!

A x

Why does "Annabel" allow this kind of spam? The quality of NVN has really slipped...

"You might be able to explain please.  How does solving complex algorithms create a currency that has value?  Thanks."

I don't think he understands that blockchain technology is not the same as cryptocurrency.  Blockchain technology is a database technology (like eg SQL) while cryptocurrency is, well, I don't know what it is.

Yes Julian, as I said quite right for Elon to raise concerns about spam spam spam (admin will delete when they see this!). Newer coins are more energy efficient and many do not need to be mined.

Old cars are far more polluting we haven’t stopped using car as they serve a purpose but we now are able to choose greener cars.

The blockchain tech behind crypto currencies can make banking greener and more efficient; Visa has been using blockchain technology since 2016.

I am not advocating buying any crypto currencies (many of which do not have strong use cases). My first post was out of concern for Guy and anyone who followed him into the crypto currency market.

Blockchain tech can make positive changes, the crypto market aimed to create new global currencies - in my view the volatility is its failure, added to this with so little regulation lots of scam projects have been allowed to thrive.

Banks are already using blockchain solutions to drive efficiencies and lower their carbon footprints.

Not all coins are created equal, some are mined others use proof of stake. Elon Musk was right to raise concerns re spam spam spam (admin will delete when they see this!)’s environmental impact and I think this will cause developers to create ‘greener’ solutions going forwards.

I think blockchain technology will be adopted by central banks pegged to their currencies ie a pound would be digitally minter into a equivalent, it will be greener than their current systems and may reduce tax fraud as the blockchain records all transactions. I love that crypto technology can provide solutions for those without access to banks; as a granddaughter of a refugee I feel it’s important for people to be able to safely store and transport their wealth.

But.... I also have come to the conclusion that current crypto market is very broken, it’s been a good way to prove the tech works, but for any currency to be useful it needs to be stable as these currencies can fluctuate by 30% in a day they are not fit for purpose.
Elon Musk's position which prompted the 20% drop in a day.

What's your position on a process to source a 'currency', that creates a massive carbon footprint?

I was thinking the same! I haven't bought since December and I've been slowly selling my crypto holdings since April.
