Tried Hamilton based on good refs here, but my advice would be to steer well clear of hum.

Very odd guy - quite aggressive and difficult to talk to. He unexpectedly cancelled our job the morning it was supposed to begin because we asked for a minor change!

Re the post above on Lethbridge Lines, they did our built in wardrobes and they are very good. Not the cheapest option, but good quality and happy to work with you to maximise the space. Nothing is standard - all bespoke.

I would second the recommendation for Hamilton. He did us a built in wardrobe in our loft. He arrived on time, worked efficiently all day and the end result is great...also cheaper than other quotes we had had.

I used a guy called Hamilton who was great. 02087710906 or 07801336113. He made all the pieces off site and fitted to measure with minimal mess in one day. :D

As a search agent I work with lots of people in the property industry. Talk to Cameron Riddell at the London Alcove Company, really helpful, well priced and locally based on 02088747026 or email sales@londonalcove.com .. oh yes and very tidy

I used NeatSmith and they did a good job.
If you are into contemporary style, this is probably what you want.

My husband could help. Have a look at his website:-

www.lethbridgelines.com

He has worked for quite a few of my family and friends and they have all been thrilled so I am not worried about doing a bit of PR for him on his behalf!

You could try Toby on 07774 138209. I know he's very busy but if you are prepared to wait a bit I know he'll do a great job for you!

We just used the Invisible joiner and were very impressed. My husband does quite a bit of Joinery himself and even he was happy!

built in wardrobes - any suggestions for a good carpenter?

by amybelle79 » Wed Oct 05, 2011 3:35 pm

Hi all,

Baby number 2 is on the way so a little re-jigging is necessary in the bedrooms! I need to have a built in wardrobe put in and am looking for someone reliable and reasonably priced. If you have any tips I'd love to hear them!

Thanks
A x
