Thank you Jack for your testimonial, very kind. It was a pleasure to be able to assist and thanks again for your business!

If there are any other NVNers who need to send/receive foreign currencies (bank to bank), I'd be delighted to help.

Have a good weekend.
Toby

After speaking with Misano Payments last week and satisfied with the answers to my couple of questions, I was registered and my euros received early Friday afternoon. I this morning had the GBP arrive in my bank account.

I wanted to say thank you to Toby on here, particularly as this is where I heard of him. As a small business he provides a personal service that is refreshing these days (it is his own business). I've also got a multi-currency account/wallet in my name that I can use again in future.

Halo financial is a great local company that I used recently. The service was excellent and very efficient.

Hi

I regularly use Transferwise (now Wise) for business purposes but agree their customer service is limited. I also use SATFX again for business purposes but I see from their website they also deal with personal transactions. They offer great customer service and lots of hand holding which I have appreciated!

Morning, thank you both for the suggestions. Misano, I will contact you with a couple of questions. SW11 thank you; revolut I put in the same category as TransferWise. Perhaps I'm getting old though and I'm not their target customer!

Can you use something like Revolut? Not for physical cash but for loading onto a card from a bank account and then using for payments in any currency (or onward payment to another account in another currency) works well.

I can help you - and am a former Wandsworth resident!

I plug the gap between the "challenger" firms and the larger brokers, offering exchange rates and segregated accounts in your own name, making it easier when you're sending/receiving foreign currencies.

Let me know if I can be of assistance.

Non bank currency conversion

Hi,

Having used a recommendation from here in the past, can anyone refer a currency conversion firm? I used Transfer Wise last time and their "aftersales" support was chronic so I would rather go elsewhere this time.

It's left over euros I want to bring back here.

Thanks.
