It’s a first come first served system, you need to get on their list. You can report it if spaces aren’t being used though - I had an email asking me to confirm that I was still using my space because there were a couple of inactive bikes in our bike store.

Could anyone explain to me how allocation of a space in the cycle shed on the street works?

I'm assuming that it is first come fist served but do people lose their spaces if they aren't actively using their bikes? And how are the bike sheds policed? For example there are bikes being stored (they are chained together) in one of the sheds on my road but they are never used (two of them have flat tyres)? That seems a little unfair if you have a cyclist in the family who could actively use the space.

I'm assuming that there isn't anything that can be done but thought that I would ask. My husband's bike is driving me mad in our hall!
