Job description: INTERIOR DESIGNER
Full time – studio based
Working hours: Monday-Friday 9.30am-5pm
Location: Studio just off Bellevue Road, close to Wandsworth Common Station
21 days holiday + BHs
Own vehicle and full driving licence required
Work and character references essential
Interior Designer needed to join the small creative team at our Studio
Responsibilities include:
- Attend Design Brief meetings with Creative Director, take notes & pictures as required
- Manage Interior Design projects and clients, from initial meeting to completion
- Create Canva boards, mood boards, sample boards
- Order samples – fabric, wallpapers, tiles, etc.
- Prepare presentations and present to clients
- Prepare accurate project budgets
- Appoint, brief and manage contractors
- Create purchasing lists
- Contribute to Instagram feed
Essential skills required:
- Good eye for design and a passion for creating beautiful interiors
- Ability to understand needs and preferences of different clients and interpret to individual designs
- Very good knowledge of Canva, Excel and Word
- Ideally comfortable using Vectorworks and Sketch Up
Additional skills required:
- Extremely organised with ability to multitask and juggle several projects at different stages
- Good punctuality and great time management
- Acute attention to detail
- Excellent written skills
- Excellent ability to communicate appropriately with a wide range of people
- Good knowledge of relevant products and brands a plus
- Ability and willingness to be part of a creative team, working independently but also together, supporting each other and sharing best practice
- Own car and driving licence
Start date: January 2024
