Our three kids all went through Honeywell nursery and we strongly recommend it. Very nurturing, play based. Good outdoor area where they spend as much time as possible. They strongly advised us not to send the children to school in their nicest clothes as they’ll get wet / muddy! There’s a lot of chat on other threads about Honeywell vs other schools but our experience has been overwhelmingly positive. The nursery and infant schools are very strong, and the junior school now much better under the new (4 yrs) leadership.

Choose the one nearest your house that you can walk to
The general verdict seems to be that Honeywell is less popular now

Honeywell infant / Henry Cavendish

Hello,
Looking for experiences and opinions about Henry Cavendish primary and Honeywell infant schools.
We have 5 days left to choose one of these two schools for our daughter to start reception in September, and we are really struggling to decide as we like both.
We would like to hear about the philosophy of the school, if they offer outdoor learning and contact with nature.
How’s their teaching approach? We basically are looking for a nurturing and calm environment where kids feel motivated and encouraged to learn without pressure.
Thanks in advance.
