Are there mums out there interested in being maths volunteers at local schools?

Hi there,

I'm a mum of three and run a charity called Number Champions:  https://www.numberchampions.org.uk/ supporting children in Year 2 and Year 3 who are struggling with maths.  Volunteers receive training from us and provide weekly one-to-one support for three children over an academic year.

We are looking to expand the work we do to support more children in schools across London and in particular in Wandsworth.   I'm trying to recruit volunteers to work in three potential new partner schools:
St Mary's RC Primary School, Battersea,  Holy Ghost Primary School and Sacred Heart RC Primary School.
Lots of our volunteers have taken career breaks to bring up their children and have found this a really rewarding experience and for some has made them consider new careers working in schools.

I'd love to hear your thoughts in general!    And...if you are interested in volunteering, please get in touch.

I did this as my children's school and found it really rewarding

Thank you,
Lorraine
