Comptoir du Relais is great.

Yves Camdeborde (the chef) used to run a bistro called Le Regalade - the hottest address in Paris in the early 2000’s

Since he opened Comptoir it’s been an instant hit. However, it doesn’t take reservations and there are often queues.

If you can get there, it’s great; but it’s hard to plan around

Not sure that actually fits what the OP asked for. Some very nice addresses but they asked for not Michelin, more casual places.

La Table has 2 Michelin stars, the cheapest menu is 400eur per head without wine!

Chateaubriand and Kitchen Galerie are also fancy Michelin starred places

Le 6 Paul Bert is great and definitely fits the bill

I’d recommend Le Assiette in montparnasse. It’s the perfect Bistro, from a chef with the highest credentials but now cooks more simply

Can anyone please recommend a really nice restaurant for dinner in central Paris? White tablecloths, tables not too close together, interesting freshly cooked food and not Michelin starred (we find them far too pretentious). Thanks in advance.
