Does the teen really need to be insured to drive 2 different cars in London?
Alternatively just buy them one car and don't let them drive anyone elses?

Get him to make getting his own home a priority instead of having 2 cars.

Sorry, I should have been clearer. Trying to insure him on 2 different cars at 2 addresses...so changing his address just moves the problem to the other parent!

why not change the address on the driving licence?

Teen insurance is painfully expensive but seemingly impossible for a child of divorced parents!
Our son lives 50:50 between 2 houses. We are seemingly unable to get him insurance on a car when his "home address" aka driving licence is registered at his other home.
We have called several companies to no avail (incl Marmalade)....so hoping for some creative ideas/ solutions!
