Both of my girls have gone to Simon Yeo from Ninja Kids for several years, and my eldest is on her way to Jiu Jitsu blue or purple as we speak (sorry, can't remember the order!!).  Simon is a local dad and is brilliant with children - he also taught a self-defence course specifically designed to combat after school muggings during, and post lockdown.

His website is: http://www.ninja-kids.co.uk/

Self Defence for tweens / teens

Hi all I am looking for some self defence classes for my twelve year old and wondered if you have any recommendations?

I've been meaning to sort it for ages but really need to arrange something following that terrifying news doing the rounds about the attempted abduction of a school girl in broad daylight in Lambeth last week.

I have no idea really when it comes to martial arts but I understand Ju-Jitsu or Judo are good for self defence.

Anyone have any pointers?

Thanks

Kate
