I read the newsletter and it says that the building work has just been started.

I thought it was started AGES ago?

We weren't being manipulated for PR purposes were we?

Thanks so much for posting this blog - it's really handy to see what's happening there. It's a bit painful though to read that the head is off on a fact finding mission to New York and Albany to see how they inspire children at school in the US - don't we have enough good schools in the UK to have a look at?

Also, for those who might be interested in how our local schools are doing, for the first time yesterday there was a huge data release by the DfE. This enables parents to compare helpful stats for their local schools - for example, the rate of progress for high achievers versus low achievers etc. Link here, just enter your post code to get started.
