The Glasshouse in Kew (sister restaurant to Chez Bruce) is lovely. I am not sure if they have a kids menu, but we took our daughter when she was about 9 months and they were super accommodating and very friendly.

We had a fabulous time at Roast (above borough market) with our two children. Food, wine list, settings, our small family, everything was super perfect!
Have fun (i think lunches are so much nicer than dinners, and happy bday to your mum).

Lola Rosa is a good I always think with kids in toe - food is child friendly and it keeps coming so keeps them interestd /happy /distracted!
Brinkeleys on Wandsworth Common is another fave of mine.
OR if you want to go north of the river for a change try Beaufort House - saw on NVN and its lovely. Had lunch with a friend there. Lovely spot - Kings Rd but the quiet end, fab decor and great menus - kids one too.

Hello,
It's my mum's birthday in a few weeks, and rather than going out for supper, she's decided she'd like to go out for lunch instead and take our 4 1/2 year old with us (he's generally well behaved!). Anyone got any good recommendations local or north of the river? It would be a saturday! Thanks....
