I didnt realise so many children were working.... Wonder what kind of ideas it is giving them, that image is important? Or is it the pride of a parent? I am not judhing, jut asking because i really wonder.

My twins were signed to Truly Scrumptious back in December and they've had one casting which is rather shite. We were told when signing up that there would never be more than 20 under 2 yr olds and now there's loads. Plus they've changed so much since there original casting photos. We are tied into them for 1 yr.

i don`t know who u are Borgie101 but I don`t think u are a genuine bloger bec u posted u`re msg on several mum websites copied with the exact words , fraze ...with the exact id ...so I really don`t think that the baby agencie u`re promoting is not a scam one....I personally wouldn`t go for that agencie.

Hi,

I have been in the business for over 15 years as a model and an agent. I have never looked after children, although i'm sure it wouldn't be too much different.
We always advice, potential models to look at agencies that are recommended by the AMA ( Association Of Model Agencies) www.associationofmodelagents.org.
Elisabeth Smith i know is a member. The website is very informative, and gives a good insight to what and what not to look out for. Unfortunately the business is full of rogue people so do look out, anyone that asks for up front fees i wouldn't go near. If an agency is interested in representing the child then they should pay for all costs which would then be deducted from the child's jobs.

Good luck

Hi there
I have just entered my son into Lil' Miss Lil' Mister child model search competition where the winner win contracts with Starfish Models in London, they are a well established agency who supply models for a lot of high street names.

He had a mini photo shoot and I got to take a photograph away with me and also purchased some more for his portfolio, the photos were excellent and reasonably priced.

here is the website if anyone is interested www. lilmisslilmister .co.uk

Also my son has done some work for elisabeth smith and they were brilliant he got to the final two for huggies wipes :)

Hi My little girl is almost 2 and she was signed up to Babyshak which is the bizzy kidz and we paid £90 fr her profile pictures which we had sent in the first place and she had 1 casting in the whole year!! We then registered with Kids London and they were great no initial fee she has done castings for Burberry, M & S, Bloomng marvellous, and more. She als did an ariel advert which she got paid £250 for!! By far the better agency and I have a friend who used them and her little boy did the next directory and loads more!!

Good luck ;)

I'm sure someone on here will have some recommendations but I would suggest looking at that 'other' mums website as there are quite a few threads about this that you will be interested in. I would tread carefully as I know a lot of people who paid a fee and for photos and never got any work.

Hi,
My daughter has been offered modelling contracts with a number of agencies and I am trying to decide which one to sign up with. Has anyone had any experience (good or bad) with the following agencies or could recommend one?
Truly Scrumptious
Elisabeth Smith
Scallywags
Bizzy Kidz
Thank you.
