I also agree with the Deen City Farm recommendation - it really is lovely and I've been to a party there which was great.

Also, the Kalos Centre is a really nice, simple venue.

There's also the new place from Bertie and Boo which looks fantastic, though I haven't been there yet and I think they do children's parties?

I second the deen city farm recommendation. I recently went to a 5 year old and 3 year old's joint party there and it was great. I think it only cost 90 quid including a reasonably sized room, animals coming in for petting (the snake was a major draw!) and a little pony ride for each kid. The parents organised music, a few party games, a bit of crafty stuff sticking bits on crowns, decorating sainsburys gingerbread men and lunch and it really went by very quickly - great stuff! And so much more reasonably priced than someother options!!

Hey! There is a great place on Battersea Park road that has opened recently called Eat Play Love. Its main space is a cafe (really great coffee/ breads/ cakes) and kids play area but it also has a space for kids partys and they have trained staff that run all sorts of things so sure you could find a theme that suits! Hope that helps x

Dean City Farm do children's parties for a pretty reasonable amount (with optional extras of pony rides and small animals to pet for not that much more) - and all supports a great local facility.

I should have also said that the leisure centres do other types of parties, so not just the Bouncy Castle parties x

Hi nwt,

Have you tried going to one of your local leisure centres?

We had a similar dilemma for my son's 4th birthday next month and Tooting Leisure Centre our hosting his party with a big bouncy castle, face painting and party games for 30 children totaling £180 for 2 hours. With that you will get 2 party helpers, so all you have to do is bring the food, cake and decorations.

You can also try your local library halls or the Kalos Centre on Endlesham Road.

Good Luck, and have a lovely party. :)

x

Hi All

My son's 5th birthday party is coming up and wanted to ask for suggestions for venues/ideas. He's due to start his new school in a couple of weeks so I'd like to invite as many of his new school chums as possible.

Also his father would also like to be there so my house not really an option.

Thanks all!
