I'm quite an inexperienced "novelty" cake maker - not a professional by any means but have made loads over the years for my now-teenage stepdaughters (most recently made a Gruffalo for my 3 year old) - would be happy to send you pictures of my work if you're interested and we could take it from there? I only use organic flour, butter, eggs and have oodles of glitters, icing tips etc - my mum was a professional wedding cake maker (in the States) so I am a pretty dab hand at buttercream creations.
I fully expect to have to start making R2-D2 and Death Stars in the future (please, not x-wings!) as my husband is already encouraging a love of all things Star Wars in our son!
