St Marks Church on Battersea Rise runs a dad and baby/toddler group called Men behaving dadly. its on once a month normally first Saturday of the month. Look on the church website for more details. But it includes bacon butties for dads!

My husband takes my daughter to Butterfly Ballet which is held on Saturday afternoons at Fybre Fit Gym on Northcote Road.

It is run by a friend of mine and I am actually going to do a post to highlight her as I was the one who persuaded her to come to the area!

They are brilliant classes, my husband gets to take her which he loves and more importantly it gives me a break!

Her website is www.butterflyballet.co.uk

Also there is a Dads and Little Uns group that happens every Monday or Friday morning just close to Wimbledon Park tube. My husband has been and enjoyed it!

I'm a dad of 2 boys, 3 and 1 years and we go to a group for dads and their little ones called Men Behaving Dadly. It meets on the first saturday of the month in st marks hall on Boutflower Road, Clapham Junction and kids tend to be from babies up to 5 yrs ish.

It is informal and includes coffee, bacon and egg butties for dads, fruit for kids and lots of toys out in the hall. The hall is well equipped for kids activities so there is lots of energetic play. My wife loves the morning off and I like the time with the boys and meeting up with a really friendly bunch of dads in the same situation as me, and the bacon butty goes down well too!

It is on this saturday, 1st december at 930 till just before lunch.
Next one after that is sat 5th jan. It doesnt charge, just a contribution towards breakfast.

So nice to get some lighthearted feedback (although I get the feeling that the pub is far from a lighthearted suggestion, Clapset!) . More dads giving their feedback welcome!

Can't say I've noticed the location of the closest bookies but given that every second place opening up near me is a chicken place or a bookies, reckon your quids in

When she said let's have a child I never thought that I'd have to do stuff ...

Where does the bookmaker's sit in the list of priorities ... ? Can we get Saturday's bets on before pilates?

I was doing a Pilates class at It's a Kids Thing in Earlsfield (A softplay centre) and my husband was really happy to eat a fry up and play with my son there. It seemed to be a good balance between something my husband wanted to do, something my son loved to do and something that I wanted to do.

The Manor Arms in Streatham does some sort of kids activities on Saturday from 10am. A good excuse to go to the pub if one was ever needed ;)
