David Cuffe on Abbeville Rd - they come across very knowledgeable and caring for the animals in their care. We moved out of their area, but remained registered with them.

I would thoroughly recommend Westside Vets in Webbs Road too. We've been using them for years. They are very professional and have a good way with animals - large or small.

Having experienced (well the cat has) both David Cuffe and All Creatures we have had great service from both but I have to say that the charges at David Cuffe are much higher.....over £300 for a one night stay, 2 jabs and have the cuts inflicted by a neighbours cat cleaned out. Our horse vet is half the price! Cheaper to put him in the Dorchester with a bowl of fois gras for the night..
Have to say that All Creatures on Lavender Hill are further away and its a pain parking there but as they seem equally competent we will use them in future.

Second All Creatures --- the woman who runs it Nicola is amazing. She is so lovely and caring.
I went there after going to David Cuffes in Wandsworth - they failed to tell me that my dog had chronic liver disease, she died. Nicola tended to her on her last day and could not have been more helpful and caring.
David Cuffes blamed the mistake on a locum, who claimed I had been told but had not followed up with treatment because of the cost!! Seeing as it cost me £1,700 in fees the day before she died - and also £170 to have her ashes I am not someone who would see an animal suffer rather than treat them.
I would have spent anything possible to save my dog. All Creatures was recommended to me by a friend and has been excellent.

Depends where you live... If Balham/Tooting Bec area, Animal Choice on Upper Tooting Park are good.

Would also recommend David Cuffe on Abbeville road. They took care of our beloved cat so well until he died. They were really reactive, humane and caring with him. Rose was wonderful. Our neighbours also used them for their cat and were also happy "clients".
On a practical note, you can easily park outside for free.

We use All Creatures on Lavender Hill and have had no problems. They also run puppy socialisation classes there that they can attend even before all the jabs are finished.

Can anyone recommend a good vet in the area? We just picked up a new puppy and need to look into getting him registered with local vet. thanks
