Re: Ballet Classes for adults

I am a personal trainer, health and fitness consultant, middle 40's. I have been doing dance classes for myself for many years. Mainly jazz and some contemporary. I also teach and perform a couple dance called Lambazouk from Brazil. I always felt something was missing in my dance and many times I felt stuck, not really developing the way I wanted.

I found out the missing point was classic ballet, the basic and principles for dance movements.

I have been doing adult ballet beginners classes with Jean Pascal for two terms. This class improved a lot the other dance styles I do. I am finally learning and understanding about spins and jumps. It is an amazing class. Besides working out hard the core muscles, it teaches you body alignment for dance movements. It is an excellent, small, friendly and cosy adult group. I definitely recommend for all adults,. If you haven't try it, have a goal, you will surprise yourself how good it feels learning proper ballet with a superb teacher.

Regards,
Patricia Rezende
