Everyones view is different...

But i know a number of volunteers within the nursery setting during the day, so know what goes on what parents are not there, and it is very choatic!!!!
But i suppose all nurseries are pretty much the same

Hi. It is, in my short experience, a wonderful school. I completely disagree with a previous posters comments about the nursery. Yes, the nursery is a bit cramped due to the building works but the staff are fantastic and totally make up for that - much more important in my opinion. Only issue I have is not with the school but the council for imposing 'the zone' which virtually excludes us very close, long standing Wandsworth residents from a place at our nearest school, ggrr! Though that is a problem not localised to here! Really hoping we are lucky enough to get a place for reception before September start as my daughter is so settled there.

Thanks! Good to hear the headmaster is good, going to go and have a look around to get a feel for it.

Hi...

How old are ur children??

I rate the school and the headmaster but nursery 3-4's is very large class and dont rate the set up very well...

Year 4 have alot of swearing boys but i suppose this is normal these days :(

There is a very good parent/ teacher set up, lots of parent groups, activities, disco's, events, cake sales, fates etc, emails, parents meet ups, school activities are fantastic they do lots of things, at lunch and after school, ballet, football, french, scoence club, music express, playball to name just afew.. They also do after school and before school club.. And they also do wrap around care for 3-4 year olds with 'little learners' which is across the park.. I personally dont recommend little learners tho.. Ratio's are not great and staff shouty ...
I think there is a waiting list for the skool tho, so would get in contact asap... There is currently works going on in the school to extend it with more children...

It is a good area with lovely parks, an excellent child friendly cafe' , shops nearby, tube's and buses to everywhere.. Playgroups and activities in the local church on Monday morning, Friday morning and Thursday after school...
They also have great 'nanny' networks if ur thinking of getting a nanny...

Good luck.. Feel free to pm me if you have any more questions

Wimbledon Park Primary

Hi all

Just wondering if I could ask a bit of advice on Wimbledon Park Primary. We are moving to the area and it will be our nearest school. I've heard positive things about it but just wondering if any of you have children there or know people who do? Basically I would like to know the good the bad and the ugly which is hard when you are new to the area! Any comments would be really appreciated!

Many thanks
