haven't entered this year but did it the year before last.
The Battersea park run is really nice, good flat course. It's partly paved and partly on mud/grass so can be a bit uneven there. Clapham is also great (though not sure if they do a 5k distance there).
They are all great fun with a fantastic atmosphere. Go for it!
