I got a Quest when my son was around 6 months and have used it almost daily since. It is very light, compact and easy to fold (can fold and unfold it one handed) a real workhorse.
It has survived numerous overseas trips. Easy to get on/off trains, tube and buses. It's so light I can lift it up with my son in it , if need be.
It gets bashed about a lot and covered in crumbs and banana and I just scrub it with some liquid detergent and comes out fine.
I bought this massive extra Maclearen sun shade attachment for our trip to Spain that worked a treat.
Because it is so light if you have a heavy bag hanging from the handle bars it does tip over when your child gets out (but not when child is in it or if you have something heavy in the bottom).
No experience of the XT which I heard is a bit bigger and heavier (wheels look bigger) and probably has more recline positions. THe Quest has 3 reclines but doesn't lie totally flat but think is fine for an older baby or toddler and naps.
Maybe try them out and see if you want something smaller and lighter or a more substantial push chair.
