Virgin Active wimbledon north road has a creche - I've never had any problems booking the children in (although think it does get busy at peak times like half term) and the children seem to enjoy it.

Why don't you come and try the Babydrop Crèche on Webbs Road/Kelmscott Road? We are a flexible drop in crèche based in a purpose made building in the heart of NappyValley. We are open daily from 8-6, Monday to Friday. You can drop your little ones for a minimum of an hour or a maximum of 4 hours per day. We are Ofsted registered and have 2 lovely playrooms and an outside area with sandpit and waterplay station. We offer a discount for the first 4 hours of care and also offer sibling discounts.

Check out our website http://www.thebabydrop.co.uk or give us a call on 020 7738 0019.

Hi

Thanks for tip off about Wandsworth Nuffield, I had heard that too.

Tooting does look like a nice crèche, but again not much of a seating area...

Balham mum - my oldest already attends a preschool for a few afternoons and my daughter is due to start in September. I was just looking for something to tide me over until then.

Thanks

For the 2 and 3.5 year old... have you thought about nursery for 1/2 days a couple times a week? The 3 year old qualifies for 15 hours a week of school and this would mean it is much reduced in price... Then again, it might be hard to find places at this particular moment... Just a suggestion.

Otherwise, likeminders does a last min Nanny... aka babysitter and I think Sitters.com can offer similar.

Would love to hear replies to this as well! Nuffield (Wandsworth) is impossible to get them into the crèche. I've heard Tooting Leisure Centre is nice. Have not been, and not sure of the cafe situation for your needs......

Can you recommend a crèche?

Hi

Can you recommend a good crèche? It's for a 2 and 3.5 year old.

I need a bit of flexible childcare to catch up on emails, admin, etc. I currently use Balham leisure centre crèche a lot, but it's not ideal sitting in reception by the vending machines! I looked at the Latchmere (as i could sit in the cafe) but the crèche didn't look inviting.

Can you recommend anywhere else? Maybe a Nuffield or Virgin? Obviously I need somewhere it's not too difficult to get the kids booked into the crèche.

Many thanks
