Yes. He has young kids and totally gets the needs of a family. He did our house recently and we were bowled over by input and advice (even sorted our builders out which wasn't in the original scope.

His name is Christophe Spiers:

If you're still looking, I can highly recommend the architect we're currently using - David Burgess, from Burgess Mean Architects, who's helping us with the extension of our house (loft, side return, internal structural alterations).

David was recommended to us as someone with a very good eye for design, very professional, done lots of work in Wandsworth, even my father-in-law who is an architect in another country was full of praise for David's design for our house (and he's a very difficult man to please :-)).

I would like to recommend Adam Brill, and as his firm is out of town it makes him more competitively priced.

We are currently using Dyer Grimes in Putney and are very pleased with what they've done. We are working with Olly and he's very good. I've worked with three different architects on three projects and Dyer Grimes are by far and away the best of the three. With architects I think you get what you pay for.

Would you recommend your architect?

We are looking for an architect recommendation, having met a couple one who was out of our price range and the other we didn't click with. We need help with a kitchen extension plus the refiguring of the downstairs of the house, looking for modern style but not ultra ultra, to blend in with the original Victorian features, any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you
