Hi!
If you want to try an italian style cake (with fresh cream or custard cream and fruit or chocolate..depends of your choice) i have the right person.
She lives in South Croydon and she makes and sells delicious home made cakes of kind and character. Have a look on her facebook page Mecla's cake.
She will be very happy to help you even at the last moment!

Thanks everyone, really helpful advice. Her grandmother is arriving tonight, she may have the patience to make one. Otherwise, we may either go to Tooting Sewing & Craft store or probably follow Taloulas advice! Great ideas! Many thanks

@ Taloula,
Wow, sounds Great! Happy baking to you too! You should post a pic when you have made it, bit of imagination and more satisfaction when you create it yourself.

I'm in the same boat. My little one turns 3 on Friday, expects me to make her cake, ( as does her sister!) and I have an Ofsted inspection on Thursday! So... I'm making a chocolate sponge, covering in green ready roll icing ( waitrose pack of five colours dr Oertker), putting some blue for a pond and dolloping some chocolate frosting (Betty Crocker if you don't want to make it) for muddy puddles. Then the peppa pig characters from our toy peppa house are going to stand on the cake. Sainsburys colliers wood usually has the peppa figures, they had fun fair ones last time I was there. I think they have some peppa napkins etc. I definitely bought peppa wrapping paper there last week. Good luck!

Hi MummyP,

How about making your own??? For step by step instructions you can search you tube clips, link below:

Here is another:

To finish off decorate with a piece blue icing for the lake and the flowers if you don’t fancy making your own can be shop bought in most supermarkets.

You can also buy all kinds of cake decorating products including coloured roll out icing, flowers, cake boards and more from Sewing & Craft Superstore near Tooting Bec, some links below:

Or just cheat and buy some little peppa pig toy figures. Either way, have fun making your cake!!!!

I was planning to bake the cake myself, but have seen on the Internet that you can get a 'topper' to put on top. So I am wonder where I might be able to buy one of those! I bought a cake from Sainsbury last year and it was actually surprisingly good! But ai like baking myself:-)

They have peppa pig cakes in all supermarkets - or were you hoping for something more personal?

HELP! I have left it too late! My daughter turns 3 this week and again this year she wants a Peppa Pig cake. I meant to order a cake topper online, but forgot. Does anyone know where I can get one? We live in Streatham but I am happy to drive to somewhere to get it! (well maybe not happy, but hey it's my own fault ;) )

Many thanks!
