Now the weather has turned I can recommend the various buggy fit classes. They are both social, good for you and get you and baby into the fresh air.

Just wanted to mention that my LO and I went to the Baby-a-wake Postnatal Pilates session today at the Recentre in Balham.
Its a really relaxed class with a nice bunch of ladies. Your LO is on a mat next to you.
We went for a taster session today and will definately be signing up for the remainder of the course.

:D

Hello

http://www.tulipyogastudios.com/co.uk used to do post natal yoga, but don't see it on their site now so maybe not anymore. Based just off Abbeville Road

http://www.sitaram.org/baby/index.html I did all my antenatal stuff with these guys are they are fab. Based all over the area and really professional.

http://www.theawarenesscentre.com on Abbeville Road do a pilates class for mums and babies (think Thurs am about 11).

All a bit further away than maybe you'd like, but have used them all for various things and can recommend them. Also no need to keep baby in the pram, the excercises include the wee one too!

Good luck

Hi there,

I've been doing Jane's pilates class http://www.baby-a-wake.com/ the babies either play on the mat next to you or sleep in the buggies or on the mats or even in your arms.
Jane sometimes takes her wee one along too. Fab, friendly class.
We went to the one on Friday mornings in Balham at the Re Centre but she does do others in Earlsfield and Wandsworth.
Loved them.

I'm looking for an exercise class / yoga class or aerobics class which I can bring my baby to and have him sleep in his pram at the back. He is only 8 weeks and I don't feel comfortable arranging childcare at this age.

I already know about the buggy fit classes on the commons, but I'm looking more for something indoors.

If anyone knows of any good classes, especially in the Lavender Hill / Clapham Junction or between the commons areas, please let me know!
