I have some wool and knitting needles (no idea if you use those for crocheting?) in need of a new home. Happy to drop them off if you let me know where.

what a sweet idea. I would love to help out but I can't crochet (wish i got granny to teach me before she passed away). My local charity shop normally sells some wool. I don't mind buying some if it will help keep some elderly warm. I will find out and Private message you back.

Keeping the elderly warm this winter!

Your help and generosity is needed.

With the promise of one of the coldest winters ever, we are very aware of the vunerable elderly who cannot either afford to heat their homes or who are just unable to move around to keep warm. So I've started a 'Crochet Blanket' project where by I'm making as many of these Lap Blankets as I can to help them keep warm and I'm looking for help in a number of ways which I hope you can help with:

1. Donation of wool yarn (4ply and up), or
2. Donation of crochet 'Granny' squares, 8"x8"/20cmx20cm, either in a single colour or multiple colours. (I'll make up the blankets from the squares)

Anyone willing to help or donate, please contact me on 07979850575. I'll happily pick up all donations.

Thanking you in advance for your support for those in need.
