Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for all of your responses - I never expected to get so much advice, thank you! Apologies for the delay in responding, for some reason I didn't get the email alerts so presumed no one had got in touch! So pleased to hear that everyone has had a positive result, thank you x

Try David or Jamie Isherwood - osteopaths on Kelmscott Road. Ive used them for years for all sorts of back issues and they have always fixed me, pre and post pregnancy.

Earl's Court Well Being programe would suggest a core strengthening exercise therapy following a medical assessment. We are also marketing the Hidow Pain Pod which has come over from Australia. It is a form of TENs and looks like a Iphone. Very successful in Australia and endorsed by the government. Noni 07757180303

I had terrible back ache during an post pregnancy, both times round and Emma at Northcote Chiroprator on Webbs road is brilliant. And she also fixes it rather than having to have numerous sessions forever more.

I'm 5wks post baby and already had my first session and already feel better.

Good luck an hope pain goes soon

Poor you Kaori. It's so dibiliting isn't it? I had years of bad back problems after my many years working as a scuba diving instructor. Evenually, having tried physio and exercises I went to see Maria Sonberg at Clapham Osteopathic Practice. I've posted about them before (in connection with helping babies) but here is it again: www.claphamosteopathicpractice.com
She and her partner John Carr have been keeping my back in check for several years now with their very gentle treatments and general health advice. I'll add a wish when I stir my Christmas pudding for your recovery. :D

Dr Lucy Goldby at Balance physio is AMAZING. She is their Director of Spinal physiotherapy and sorted out my back problems after years of pain and physiotherapy by various other physios and osteopaths. A friend recommended her and I went (reluctantly) as I felt that I had already seen so many physios and osteopaths.

You will find her under Team. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Best of luck.

I had a similar problem and decided to try a massage (physio was not working). Manu (Emanuela) sorted me out. She is amazing! Her mobile is 07770 731385. I see her at the Awareness Centre on Abbeville Rd but I think she is fairly mobile.

Good luck!
