It was history in the making on Saturday as Balham FC progress through to the 2nd round of the FA Cup qualifiers for the first time in its history.
The club's founder and chairman, Greg Crutwell was over the moon with the result.
"It’s very exciting for our relatively young club, founded in 2001, to be playing in the FA Cup," he said.
"To have got through to the second qualifying round beating Rusthall, Redhill and Horley Town in doing so, is brilliant for everyone associated with the club.
"I’m very proud of the achievement."
But they aren't about to stop now.
"We don’t want our run in the world's oldest cup competition to end yet however," Crutwell added.
"We look forward to hosting Royston Town, who are two promotions above us, on Saturday, September 21."
