Are you a qualified teacher, looking for a rewarding and exciting part-time role? Come and join our friendly team as the Education Lead - delivering engaging outdoor classes based on the national curriculum on our beautiful community garden in Wandsworth.
The purpose of this role is to plan and deliver the ‘Paradise Learning’ primary school programme for The Paradise Co-operative, a locally grown charity in Wandsworth that is designed to nurture our bonds with nature in an urban environment. The role requires the successful applicant to be a qualified teacher with at least 2 years of classroom-based teaching. We’re looking for a strong and reflective practitioner who is passionate about outdoor learning and the environment. This is a contractor role (i.e. self-employed) based on two full days a week of delivery during the school term. Days are flexible and to be agreed with the successful applicant. The position offers a day-rate that aligns with the teaching main pay-scale and will be discussed based on the successful candidate’s experience. Delivery is on our outdoor site in SW18, and with home-working for administrative tasks.
