Are you referring to the new jeweller with white front with black logo? Or the original one.
Just in case you might be speaking of the other one.

not very pleasant to speak of people like that on a forum totally unrelated to post like the man in Palmer. He’s always been friendly and professional to me.
I would be upset if I read a post about me on a forum if a shop keeper.

Thank you for posting. Omg I’m glad it wasn’t just me.. I bought a piece of jewellery for my mother which we discovered was broken (took it back the very same day) and he refused to accept we didn’t break it ourselves! He wouldn’t even look at it, or engage with us.
Avoid at all costs. Can’t believe shops like that can even operate in this day and age.

I would give this shop a wide berth; the last two times I have gone in there to have the simple job of having a new battery put in my watch, the watch stops working within a week, so necessitating a trip to the Omega shop in Oxford Circus. A right royal pain!

Go back again with a couple of friends and ask him very politly again.Make sure when you go in shop is full of customers in process of buying,least that will happen is lose sale by being rude which you can point out to customers about his after sales service.Hopefully he will be polite and all goes well, if not trip advisor report should help his business in one way or another. 

Has anyone else used the Northcote Jeweller? I went in recently to have some old jewellery adjusted, and when I got it back there was a small issue.  When I returned to the shop I spoke with the man who owns the shop, who went into a vitriolic frenzy the moment I opened my mouth!  Extraordinarily unprofessional and bitchy - I wish I had read the reviews before setting foot in the place!
