A pensioner is fighting for his life following a crash yesterday morning (Wednesday 20 March).
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service just before 10.30am to reports of a crash in Bedford Hill, near Balham High Road.
Officers, the LAS and London’s Air Ambulance attended and found that a van had collided with a pedestrian.
The man, aged in his 80s, has been taken to a west London hospital with life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made.
