POLICE have released an image of a man they want to speak to in connection of a serious assault on-board a London Underground service.

At around 10pm on Saturday, October 3, an NHS worker was travelling on the Circle line service when he noticed a group of two men and one woman on-board not wearing face coverings.

The man approached the group and challenged them on why they were travelling without face coverings on, which led to an argument between the man and the group.

One of the men from the group then punched the victim several times in the side of the head before throwing him off the train onto the platform at High Street Kensington station.

The group stayed on the service as it left the station.

The victim suffered serious injuries, including a chipped jaw and three breaks to his eye socket.

If you recognise the man in the image, or have any information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 2000068891.

Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
