Hi,

Middle living rooms can be tricky spaces to design. The layout often depends on how the other areas in your home are being used and what your family needs or wants. I am a local interior designer and the founder of Orsetto Interiors. Some clients utilize this room as a home office, snug, or dining area, among other possibilities.

Considering your hobbies can be a great starting point for designing the space—whether it's reading, playing board games, knitting, or painting.
If you need help designing your space, I would be delighted to assist you. Please get in touch through my website.

Best regards,

Alessandra

Best use for a middle living room in a victorian terrace?

by Its Nearly Xmas » Fri Sep 06, 2024 4:19 pm

Can I ask how families treat their middle room or the room between the front room and kitchen in a victorian terrace? I seem to spend all day long walking through mine (our front and back room are through rooms) but despite being a decent sized room we don't seem to get much value out of it and I feel it is a waste.

When the children were toddler and early primary school ages it was a great playroom but now we aren't sure what to do with it for maximum benefit.

Thought that I would ask on here and see if I we can get some ideas.

Thank you all.
