Agree with swimming, although I would just take on own as found classes expensive and nothing you and baby could not do on own.
Our favourite was always Amanda's Action Kids - she does a quieter class for younger toddlers at 11.15 and as confidence grows can join the more noisey/lively full classes. These classes are also a great chance to meet other mums etc at same stage as you.

Hi Mum of One -
My 6 month old loves swimming too. He splashes around and squeals with delight! We're doing Water Babies, but you can swim at the Latchmere Leisure Centre for 3.50.
Agree that Tin Pan Annie seems to fly a little over the head of a 6 mo old, but he seems to really enjoy Amanda's Action Kids and Fruity Tunes. I find he needs more and more entertainment and stimulation, and after 6 months without sleeping, I'm almost tapped out! Hope this helps!

Hi MumofOne

When my first son was six months old I started taking him to swimming (at www.trinityhydrocentre.co.uk) and to Monkey Music. Although a bit pricey, they were such fun classes to go to for both of us, and we made some great friends. As a result, my two year old is pretty much swimming on his own now, and is a happy, confident boy. I'd highly recommend doing a couple of classes if you can afford them. Definitely not a waste of money in my view!

Good luck x

My 6 month old is needing more entertaining and whilst there is lots on offer, Monkey Music, Action Amanda etc are these a bit of a waste of money at this age? Has anyone got any favourites?
