Lois Adams is a local child counsellor with particular expertise in bereavement and she volunteers for a childhood bereavement charity. Her contact details are here http://loisadams.counselling.co.uk/about-me. She is really lovely and I am sure she could help your child. Importantly, she is also accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Good luck to you and your child. It must be a very worrying time for you.

Have you spoken to anyone at Winston's Wish? They are an amazing charity which help children it times of grief. Their programmes are outstanding and they even do trips and camps for children. If you google them, give them a call they will send out information and also set up appointments.

Can anyone recommend a grief/bereavement counsellor for a child?

The recent loss of a loved one has sent my 8yr old into a tailspin and I'm thinking she may benefit from speaking to someone other than family.

Thank you..
