This fabby restaurant is coming to Balham and this is what the Standard said about them:

“Cosy, dimly lit and elegant, yet also buzzy and youthful, with comforting plates that left me happy and full ... You’d need to be a misery, or someone who revels in being sour, not to enjoy Foxlow.”

I think they sold out to Foxlow.

I don't know the restaurant trade at all so I'm not sure if that's a "good exit" as in they made money or not. The only reason I mention that is it seems odd to buy a restaurant and then close it for ages and then refit it and open under a different name as I thought you'd want to buy the brand and the loyalty etc but maybe there is stuff to do with leases etc that makes it worthwhile.

Can't wait to try it though too

Sign up on their website for email alerts, and they'll probably run a soft launch offer, like their other Foxlow branches. Would be around 50% off food, which is a bargain considering the quality.
